Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover, a man of many talents. Whether it be his music, his acting, or writing and directing, Glover is undeniably an amazing artist. I have admired his multifaceted skill as early as his starring role in Community. My strive to enter the world of art as masterfully as him inspired me to do this painting.

In this painting my goal was to fully build a human. This was the first ever portrait I did that was more than just the face, and not only that included a shirtless body, an added challenge. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do just that. Beyond that what I aimed to capture was the love in his eyes, expression and body language and I believe I did just that.
