Mac Miller (1992-2018) is one of the great musical talents of my generation. What really inspires me is Mac Miller’s versatility as an artist. He has demonstrated his talent as a pure rapper but also has a beautiful singing voice. After his passing I wanted to paint him and immortalize his playful, joyful spirit. “Easy Mac with the Cheesy Raps”.

For me the most important aspect is the feeling of it. I really wanted to emulate the spirit of Mac Miller. I focused on the eyes primarily along with the hands and mouth to do this. This painting holds a special place in my heart.
