For my 8th grade “iSearch Project” I chose to research graffiti and ultimately my final was this mural. I had no experience with spray paint and very little with graffiti lettering. It was an amazing learning experience and it jumpstarted my skills with graffiti and murals.

I spent months researching spray paint techniques like stencils, flaring, outlining, etc. and was able to create this beautiful piece. My goal was to represent the ocean with both the word (obviously) but also what is inside the letters.
