A piece inspired by the beautiful sunsets and the diverse wildlife of the Savannah in Africa.

For me the focus of this painting is not the tree or the animals, it’s the vivid sky. I wanted to project beauty and emotion through the sky. While painting it I just put out every color I had in the range from red to pink to yellow and tried to incorporate as many different shades into it. In doing so I think that I had the most fun I have ever had while painting doing this exact sky
