Portraits

Portraiture became a fascination of mine in 2018, and I still have a great love for it. There is something so profound about creating a face or being able to capture someone’s likeness with paint. In a way, it can be a very spiritual experience to witness a person take shape on the canvas in front of you. As I have studied the greats like John Singer Sargent my fascination has deepened. Whether it be capturing people I love or look up to, idols of mine, or commissions of loved ones, I have a deep love affair portraiture.
